MetaStan

MetaStan provides Bayesian meta-analysis tools in Stan, with a focus on sparse binary data, hierarchical models, and weakly informative priors for settings where standard methods can be unstable.

The package implements the methods developed in Guenhan, Roever, and Friede (2020) doi:10.1002/jrsm.1370 and is aimed at practical evidence synthesis problems where robust estimation matters more than generic workflow coverage.
